Our daughter has been going to Sunrise for about a month. We love it so much! Ms. Michelle has been amazing. They put so many fun parties and crafts together for the kids. You can tell they truly love the kids. Our daughter was also potty trained after being there for just a week. We are so happy with our decision to send our daughter here.

A couple months back, I was in the search of a child daycare center in proximity that offers a safe environment and competent staff to provide the care and training for my son. Among the top 3 shortlisted, Sunrise Early Learning Center offered the most security and I am glad with the transformation and gentleman my son has grown into. His level of maturity is commendable as he takes responsibility and insists on get things done "by myself" in Jason's words, lol. Long story short, Jason's took early entry test to Kindergarten and his performance was rated excellent. My daughter is 5 years old and has been going to Sunrise Early Learning Center since she was about 8 months old. Its almost like a second home for her; Not only that but they helped to foster my daughters academic and social development by engaging her in various learning activities daily. They also balance her experience with many fun activities throughout the year. My daughter even surprises me sometimes with some of the things she learnt. When she was about 3 y-o, I was amazed one day when I heard her telling my nephew the name of the president and all about the White House in Washington DC. I really love that because when my daughter is around my friends kids, same age group as her, I can see where she is more advanced than most of them. I feel a sense of comfort to know that my daughter is always in good hands when I am at work.

I am so happy to have found Sunrise. They are not your typical daycare setting. This is a Preschool set up with a goal of achieving Exceptional Academic Standards & Promoting Social Skills.

My daughter has been in the Center since she was 6 months old & has now graduated on her way to Kindergarten. The amount of knowledge she has amazes me. I didn't know I would be saying this soon, but she has already began teaching me some things...... By the time she was 2 she could spell & write her name (All 8 letters). She has learned how to speak Spanish; how to communicate using sign language, and how to socialize with almost anyone. Because of Sunrise, she is well on her way to achieving Academic Success.

The Director, Ms. Semera treats the children just like her own. The love & care she gives them makes you have peace of mind knowing your child is in a wonderful environment. The Staff are always available & are extremely friendly + helpful. The Teachers have amazing credentials & engage the children in fun activities to help them learn better. My child was always excited to be going to school in the morning.

Im a old parent and a current one.My eldest child is 13 years old he had been attending the Center since he was an infant. I learned about the center from my sister all four of her children have attended the center as well her oldest child now is 16. Sunrise is the only day care facility that I have allowed my children to go as infants... They have been the only Center where I felt comfortable enough to leave my children and go to work and attends school... This center is so much more than a daycare.... its family oriented with a strong Academic structure... when your child attends they are not just being watched their learning their thriving becoming who they will be into adulthood.... I can only say positive things about sunrise. My experience with them has been phenomenal I wouldnt trade it for anything and I feel truly bless that I was able to find them when I did. I have three children ages 13,10 and 3. All have attended sunrise. My two older children still remember their experiences at the center and at 13 and 10 they speak only positive thoughts and memories. Sunrise will forever be a part of who they are. Positive role models strong curriculum loving environment with well educated individuals with a sense of family responsibility thats Sunrise. Sunrise learning center is so much more then a day care, so much more then a learning center. I look at them as family they have help mold my children.

Everything youd want in a preschool! We are extremely happy with our daughters progress and overall preschool experience. This was the first time she started preschool after daycare, and the staff was very knowledgeable, warm and accommodating from the first day.
Our girl has been blooming academically and socially since the begging for, and despite her being so ready to make a transition from daycare to preschool, I can tell that staff and their integrated programs really played a huge role in this!

Ms Semera is a wonderful leader, and all the teachers & teacher assistants are working extremely hard to assure the fluency of the day and the happiness of your child. Parents plese keep in mind, you will not find a school that includes this level of care/ professionalism/ enthusiasm at such great price in Rockville/ Gaithersburg area. We randomly found out about it from a friend, but wish we knew about it sooner.
From what I see, the center offers infant care, 2s, 3s, 4s & 5s and each program is beautifully personalized to fit your childs needs. Our daughter enjoyes her time at school, adores her teacher, Ms Gayathu, and always comes home full of stories. I am pretty convinced shed live with me Gayathu if we allowed it. Hahaha

Two big pluses for us were the option to drop off earlier when needed and pick up later ( 7-6:30pm) and that gorgeous playground is fabulous.
I am dreading time when our girl starts public school this year, but we hope to visit SELC on days when her school is closed.

LOVE this school! I am going to miss taking my child here. My daughter is so advanced because of this place. I want to thank the staff for working with my child and making this place a 2nd home for her. When I first brought my child she was CRYING everyday! Like so BAD! lol Now? Shes like "bye mom, see you later". Safe pace and in the morning it always smells like GOOD cooking! haha! Please don't ever think your child will go hungry here. lol They FEED the kids good here.

I can not thank this school enough! The teachers are so caring and great with the children. My daughter is doing so well and all A in her new school. What a blessing, and I'm so grateful .

The teachers are caring and great with children. After searching and reading reviews from other places and after doing a tour with Ms. G and made the decision to enroll my daughter here, at first it was hard to leave her because it was something new for her but the entire staff helped her and always welcoming her like they already knew her, they helped me as well with potty training, she is now more independent and love going to school. The facility is always clean. We are so blessed we found this place for her. When we get home all she talked is about her teachers and what she did at schools, she knows her ABC and counting as well( she is 3 years old). I would highly recommend Sunrise Early Learning Center.

This day care has amazing staff and the management in general.They have a good caring heart for the kids.My son is always excited about going to daycare.Teachers have a good effort to engage with kids and develop them in a very indivudualised way.Management does there best bt providing a safe and environment especially at this moment of COVID 19.I give it Five star because is the first daycare I have seen my son happy. They take such great care of my son,it makes me happy to send him off every morning and know he will be taken care of.I strongly recommend this place to every one with little ones.

We are so fortunate and glad to have enrolled our kid at this center during an ongoing pandemic. The entire staff at Sunrise are very professional and compassionate. Ms. G was very knowledgeable and full of energy on the day of the tour. Ms. Semera was adept at getting our kid comfortable on first day and thereafter, especially after the fact this was the kids first time at a daycare. Ms. Slyvana and Ms. Bhupi are exceptionally caring and nurturing. The centers communication model is excellent and keeps us informed and engaged. The staff is very receptive to feedback and actively work on improving experience of the child as well as parents. Childcare options are very flexible and make transition of a first-timer flawlessly smooth. We have had very positive experience at this center and our kid is happy.

We have nothing but glowing things to say about Sunrise Early Learning Center. We needed to find a Pre-K program for our son who wasn't quite old enough to start kindergarten but had really aged out of in both mind and spirit... Daycare. I luckily found Sunrise and the rest was just kismet! My son is learning so much, can now read and has incredible math skills. He is given homework to prepare him for his next level of education and has just excelled all around... And he loves his teachers and the Sunrise staff!!! Sunrise provides so much, that we also took our other son who is 2 from his old Daycare place and also enrolled him in Sunrise. *Parents... if you want your child in program that will prepare them for the next level, Sunrise Early Learning Center is that place!!!

Sunrise Early Learning Center is a great school. My daughter is currently enrolled here. In five months she is reading, writing and problem-solving. What I love most is the design-based projects for STEM activities. Most important, are the teachers, staff, and directors who promote a culture of excellence, quality, and equity. I highly recommend that you send your child to SELC, especially if you want your child to be on or above grade level both academically and socially. Thank you SELC staff for all that you do daily!

Sunrise Early Learning Center is a wonderful school. They're very involved in making sure our kids are well educated and above there grade level and developmental stages. My daughter has been attending Sunrise for less than a year now and she has blossomed in to a lovely young lady and is above her grade level for her age. Sunrise teachers and caretakers are amazing, words can not describe how wonderful they are. I can leave my daughter knowing that she will be well taking care of and that her educational development is a priority.

I LOVE this center. I have four children that attend and they have practically helped me raise my 3 youngest.(6,5,and almost 2) I brought my 9 year old here when she was 4, my 6 year old has been here since he was 6 months old, my 5 year since she was 3 months old and my almost 2 year old since she was 8 weeks.

I was very sadden with having to be away from my baby at such a young age but I trusted the center especially the infant and toddler room teacher to take care of her and they do. She walks in the door like she owns the place now. Sunrise is truly a second home for them, Ms.Semera and her staff are awesome. It doesn't get any better than them :)

Great School my son has been a student since he was 1. He is now almost three. The School has helped him with not only learning his ABCs and numbers, but he is potty trained. Great staff for the children and great atmosphere for kids. Will definitely recommend!

Sunrise ELC is a great facility. You can tell that everyone really cares about the kids and Mrs. Semara (director) is very involved with day to day care of children which I think is good to see. There is a lot of structure and I can see how my children are progressing academically and socially. I would definitely recommend SELC to parents in the area.

My only critique is that I would like to see their website and social media accounts updated with new content more regularly.

My kids have been attending this school since the week after Thanksgiving, my Son(4) really enjoyed the new transition, my daughter on the other hand till this day has been kind of resistant, but when its time to pick up she is having a blast! I think a lot has to do with her age (2). but over all they both really enjoy this school. My only critic is that its very small and quite tight in there. Also the payment schedule I have been having trouble with it seem no matter what time I get there the two directors (which are the only ones who can accept a CC payment) are never there! then they charged me a late fee. This was quite frustrating but since then I have asked a couple of other parents how they do it and most just write a check. its the same account and less stressful. I give the school 4/5 stars. I was really nervous about sending my children to a new daycare but my son actually gets homework and my daughters speech has improved tremendously. over all a great school to prepare your children for preschool.

This is a great center bring your kids to. Mr. Fahnbulleh is really nice!

I have toured just about every school in the Germantown/Gaithersburg area and this school is by far the best. The teachers are so caring and hands on. The curriculum is the best around. The school is beautiful. The children are always so happy and genuinely love the teachers. We drive out of our way to bring our daughter here because it is the best there is. If you want your child to learn and grow and not just pay for a babysitter like with other "schools" then pay them a visit!

My daughter has been attending SELC for 2 years now. She started in the infant room and is now in the 3 yr old class. I must say she loves this place, it's like a 2nd home to her. She wakes up on the weekends and asks if it's time to go to daycare. My son has also been in before and after care & attended the summer program. The teachers are wonderful, always greeting us with a smile & they really work with the kids closely and help them grow. This center has also worked with me when I've had crazy work schedules that require more of my time. I Highly recommend the center if you are looking for child care. As a single mom I don't know what I would have without them for the past couple of years. Thank you Sunrise
